Led consultancy team in cross-border office and retail consultancy project pertaining to the sale of Shanghai Lippo Plaza, valued at 2.03 billion RMB, from Lippo group to a publically listed Singaporean REIT.
Assisted in consulting for the largest REIT in Hong Kong on strategy for expansion into and acquisition of retail malls throughout multiple cities in China.
Directed research assignment and subsequent publications on free trade zone developments in China.
Reported on procurement and sourcing off-market capital markets opportunities, maximizing untapped capital and analyzing extensive bidder knowledge for purposes of deal-making.
Mr. Kretchman studied Entrepreneurial Business at Babson College - rated number one in in the world for entrepreneurial business for 17 years running. He began his career in California, carrying forward his passion for real estate and management acumen - opening a valuation office in Beverly Hills, CA. After moving to Asia he undertook his MBA at Hult. He then joined Savills in Shanghai in the area of Property Development Consultancy. Later he moved to Capital Markets with JLL in Hong Kong before joining Colliers International in Vietnam.
Don Hannah has for over five decades, started and built over twenty successful companies in variety of different businesses that operated in 33 countries. He is recognized as a pioneer in international marketing programs and was a finalist for Inc. Magazine’s “Entrepreneur of the Year Award.” Hannah led auctions as President and CEO of the Merrill Lynch Realty Auction Division and reported directly to the Chairman of Merrill Lynch Realty, serving on its executive board. Don has further been a member of the board of directors of 18 companies several of which were listed on the New York Stock Exchange as well as NASDAQ and the Toronto and Vancouver Exchanges.
His primary businesses involvement is in the marine transportation industry and the real estate industry. In 1957 he assumed control of a small local tugboat and barge operation based in Chicago, he subsequently built the company into a worldwide marine shipping organization. Hannah Marine Company became the largest tugboat and barge company operating on the Great Lakes.
In 1986 Hannah recognized the need for a well-organized, effective auction marketing company to meet the growing demands for the efficient real estate sale of distressed properties and started US Properties Enterprises. The company subsequently became affiliated with Merrill Lynch Realty. The Prudential Insurance Company of America acquired Merrill Lynch Realty along with the Auction Division. The company became the fourth largest American auction company accumulating sales of over $1.1 billion.
Hannah is the father of five children. His three oldest children are all involved in the motion picture industry. His son, Donald Jr., is a prominent film producer, director and actor. His daughter, Daryl Hannah, is an actress and producer and has appeared in over seventy motion pictures including Blade Runner and Kill Bill I + II.
Schnaubelt’s passion for the real estate industry can be traced back to his role as a founding member of the USAuction/Merrill Lynch Realty team, which sold over $1B of real estate at over 60 auctions. Schnaubelt later gained experience working in the commercial print industry, which led to launching his own advertising design agency in 2005. Schnaubelt continues to create content for a variety of real estate agencies, brokers, teams and individual REALTORS©, including some of the top-producing agents in the State of Arizona.
